Entry and Exit Requirements:

Arrival by air: Foreign citizens arriving by air may be unconditionally admitted to Georgia if they present a COVID-19 vaccine certificate confirming receipt of two full doses of the vaccine (or one dose in the case of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).

Arrival by land or sea: Travelers arriving by land or sea must be citizens or residents of listed countries and travel must be directly from a listed country (including Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey), including transit through third countries. Vaccinated travelers must present BOTH proof of vaccination and a negative PCR test result conducted 72 hours or less before arrival in Georgia (see above for details). No follow-up PCR test is required.

Exception to all of the above entry requirements: As of November 28, 2021, any person who has a travel history to the countries listed below during last 14 days is subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine in a Georgian government facility upon entry into Georgia. After completing the 14-day quarantine, the traveler must undergo a PCR test. Foreign citizens are personally responsible for the cost of quarantine and PCR testing.

The Government of Georgia recommends that visitors to Georgia carry proof of health insurance when crossing the Georgian border.

More information is available here. We strongly urge travelers not to attempt to travel without proof of vaccination, proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test, or both, depending on applicable requirements.

StopCov.ge (in English and Georgian) is the Georgian government’s repository for all updates and recommendations on COVID-19 in Georgia.

Call 112 (24/7) to request urgent medical assistance for suspected cases of COVID-19 or register on the Government of Georgia’s portal.

Call 144 (9 am to 9pm Georgian time) for other questions or concerns related to COVID-19. This is the Georgian government’s dedicated hotline where you can receive up-to-date information in English or Georgian.

Entry to Georgia:

• As per the latest entry regulations,  it is no longer obligatory to provide negative PCR test result at the border.
• Persons fully vaccinated (two doses, and one dose in the case of Johnson & Johnson) should present the document confirming the full course conduct of any COVID-19 vaccination.
• Documents are valid irrespective of the vaccination time mentioned on them.

Prior to attending the conference:

• COVID 19 self-test kits will be available in your hotel room and we highly recommend to use them prior to attending the conference.
• If you test positive, please refrain from attending the conference and notify+995 591 60 50 80 (Health focal point; 24/7). Stay in your hotel room and monitor your symptoms.

During the conference

• We highly encourage you to wear mask in crowded common areas during the event.
• Masks and hand sanitizers are available in the venue, near to the meeting space entrance and in the hotel rooms.
• Rapid tests are at your disposal during the conference, and we highly advise you to test on a daily basis (especially if having symptoms).

After the conference
